Talented Nigerian Nollywood actors, Toyin Abraham, OdunladeAdekola, Sola Sobowale, Saka, Chigurl and ElvinaIbru have joined the cast of OmoniOboli’s new movie, “Wives on Strike: The Revolution”

The “Wives on Strike” debut which was released last year in cinemas nationwide, sent a scintillating thrill through the minds of its viewers. To further this wholesome package, the producers have added the presence of A-list actors like Toyin Abraham, OdunladeAdekola, Sola Sobowale, Saka, Chigurl, ElvinaIbru, and many others.

The newly added cast are believed to have given not only an exquisite touch of humor, but to have as well, put in their avant-garde.

The first sequel of the “Wives on Strike” movie followed the story of a group of market women, who decided to take matters into their own hands against their husbands in a bid to stir them into standing up for a young girl, whom they wanted to protect from the wishes of her own father.

Other members of cast are OmoniOboli, UcheJombo, UfuomaMcdermott, ChiomaAkpotha, Julius Agwu, KenethOkonkwo, and others.

Toyin Abraham, who played the role of Mama Bola, speaking with her fans via her social media, urged them to keep their fingers crossed as they are about to see the next biggest thing in Nollywood.
The movie, written, produced and directed by OmoniOboli, is set to be released in cinemas across Nigeria on Friday, December 29.

OmoniOboli is the only producer who has had back-to-back box office success with four movies consecutively with movies such as; “Being Mrs. Elliot”, “First Lady”, “Okafor’s Law”, and “Wives on Strike”.
