When Abuja Glitterati Gathered for Zacchaeus Akinadewo
For one glittering evening in Abuja, business took a back seat to celebration as the city’s corporate and advertising elite converged at the Chelsea Hotel to toast a remarkable milestone.
The occasion was the celebration of Zacchaeus Akinadewo’s GRAZA Media Limited at 10, a decade of building visibility, creating platforms and making its presence felt in Nigeria’s competitive Out-of-Home advertising space.
It was, naturally, an evening of polished suits, elegant appearances, warm embraces, animated conversations and the inevitable exchange of industry gossip that often gives Abuja social gatherings their special flavour.
But beneath the glamour and celebratory mood was a more serious story, the story of a company that has survived the uncertainties of business and emerged after ten years with its sights firmly fixed on the future.
For the man of the moment, Akinadewo, however, there was little of the usual CEO theatrics.
Akinadewo appeared remarkably relaxed, moving between guests, exchanging pleasantries and soaking in the goodwill. Yet those who listened closely soon discovered that the man celebrating 10 years was already mentally somewhere in the next ten.
Akinadewo’s vision is to position GRAZA at the intersection of Out-of-Home advertising, technology, data and audience intelligence, transforming the traditional business of visibility into something more sophisticated, measurable and commercially valuable.
As the evening gathered momentum, guests continued to mingle, conversations stretched across tables, and congratulations flowed freely.
