Tribute to Dr. Wale Adeniran

The Yoruba Self Determination Movement, (YSDM) mourns a Statesman and advocate of the Yoruba Nation, Dr. Wale Adeniran who passed away on July 26, 2026 at the age of 81. The academic and former university don was the pioneer Commissioner of Education in Osun State in 1992. He dedicated the latter part of his life to the Yoruba cause for which he will be dearly remembered. The Yoruba Nation seeks to protect the Yoruba heritage, language, and traditional governance structures, operating under the statutes of the 2007 United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. We send our condolences to his family and well wishers and pray God Almighty will grant them the fortitude to bear this loss.
