Huawei Technology and its partner, arravo technology solutions provider, on Wednesday in Lagos, showcased the arravo Managed Service Platform (MSP) solution that allows businesses scale-up for profitability.

The MSP solution, which is cloud-based, with embedded Artificial Intelligence (AI) feature, allows businesses to focus on their core operations, while arravo deploys the MSP solution, which is a full managed solution package that helps organisations to save cost.

In his presentation, the Director, Enterprise Solutions for arravo, Mr. Ayantola Olkayan, said the arravo MSP solution is the first cloud managed solution for network device to be hosted locally in Nigeria. According to him, before now, organisations used cloud service providers to manage their networks from a remote location, but arravo was able to bring the solution to Nigeria to be hosted locally in Nigeria to serve more businesses.

Speaking about the benefits of MSP to customers, he said it would help businesses to reduce their Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) and Operating Expenditure (OPEX), since the customer will not invest to own its own private cloud, adding that Huawei and arravo are introducing the Managed Service Platform (MSP) solution that helps organisations to better manage their business for greater profitability.

The General Manager, Cloud and Infrastructure at arravo, Mr. Obuseh Thompson, said the MSP solution remained secured and designed to protect users from getting hacked. According to him, the solution is fully encrypted and prevents hackers from getting unauthorised access into organisation’s network, adding that the MSP solution ensures full protection of the customers’ data.

Network Solutions Sales Manager at Huawei, Mr. Atabor Hamza, in his presentation on Huawei Cloud Campus Solution, said the solution would enable the growth of the modern day campus network. Stressing the dominance of emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, among others, and how they influence the way networks are being accessed, Hamza said:  “Huawei Cloud Campus Solution cuts across all different sectors like the health sector, manufacturing sector, among others. Huawei invests heavily in research and development and commits over 22 per cent of its annual revenue on global research and development.”
