Obiora Agbasimalo: A Selfless Philanthropist

With over 15 years of selfless service to the society as a dedicated accountant in the banking sector, Obiora Agbasimalo, is a personality to reckon with. He is driven by altruism, and is silently building a reputation that endeared him to the public as a man of the people.

Agbasimalo, who will join the Ruby jubilee this October, is an accountant with an enviable 15 years of professional practice. He is an active volunteer and donor to a handful of charity organisations across the country.

He is not your regular Financial Manager, but also the brain behind the strategies for all Projects in Oga Ndi Oga Foundation, (ONOF), a non-religious, non-political, non-profit charity and private foundation that is active in Anambra State.

Interestingly, Oga Ndi Oga is renowned for its far-reaching programmes including healthcare, poverty alleviation, women and youth empowerment, back-to-school campaign, and scholarships among others.

With a Degree in Management Accounting, this staffer of Zenith Bank boosted his portfolio after he joined the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants to become a Chartered Accountant.

Indeed, Agbasimalo is not your regular businessman, he is a husband, father and an unapologetic evangelist, preaching the word of God everywhere he goes.

With such an appealing profile, there is then no gainsaying that Agbasimalo hasprinted his name in the sands of time, creating new records across the nation.

Today, having lent a hand to women and children, he is making a bold addition – youth development and social regeneration.

He told newsmen during a briefing at his Anambra office on a Friday morning. “I feel it is time for someone with a fresh idea to come on board and make an impact especially in the area of youth development, waste management and control and most importantly structural development.”

Agbasimalo is not relenting on his quest to make the country worth living for the youth, children and women. This, he enthused, is what everyone needs in this chaotic time.
