Razor Media Group CEO Odita Visits Great Wall of China, Ruminates on Import of Vision, Resilience in Nation-building

The Chief Executive Officer of Razor Media Group, Mr. Odita Sunday-Udemaguna, has visited the historic Great Wall of China as part of activities marking his participation in the Seminar on Fruit Processing and Comprehensive Utilisation for Belt and Road Countries in Beijing.
The seminar, held from August 4 to 17, 2026, brought together participants from nine countries—Jordan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Nigeria, Tanzania, Antigua and Barbuda, Costa Rica, Thailand and Bangladesh—to deepen knowledge and cooperation in fruit processing and comprehensive utilisation.
Odita, who spoke on behalf of the participants at the closing ceremony, described the programme as a remarkable experience that brought together people from different countries and transformed them from strangers into colleagues, friends and partners.
He expressed appreciation to the China National Research Institute of Food & Fermentation Industries Corporation for organising the programme, as well as the organisers, facilitators, professors, supervisors and other officials who contributed to its success.
According to him, the technical knowledge acquired during the seminar would provide valuable resources for participants as they returned to their respective countries to apply the lessons learned.
Odita also commended the hospitality extended to the participants throughout their stay in China, describing their accommodation and general treatment as exceptional.
The programme included study tours to Damin Food Company Limited in Zhangzhou, Fujian Zishan Group Company Limited, Tianfu Tea Culture Industrial Park, Fujian Lixing Food Company Limited and the Ten Fu Tea Museum.
He said the visits provided participants with first-hand exposure to Chinese innovation, industrial organisation and food-processing practices.
The participants’ visit to the Great Wall of China was one of the highlights of the programme, with Odita describing the experience as unforgettable.
In his closing remarks, he said the ancient structure offered a powerful metaphor for China’s development, pointing to the importance of vision, resilience, unity and discipline in nation-building.
Standing atop the historic landmark, he said participants were reminded that great achievements are built gradually—brick by brick, generation by generation—through patience, commitment and sustained effort.
Odita also praised the programme’s group supervisors for maintaining professionalism and encouraging punctuality and time consciousness throughout the seminar.
He said the relationships established among participants were another valuable outcome of the programme, as representatives from nine countries had opportunities for cross-cultural interaction, networking and cooperation.
As participants prepared to return home, Odita said they were leaving China with technical knowledge, new friendships, professional connections, cultural experiences and a renewed appreciation of what could be achieved through cooperation among nations.
He concluded his closing address by thanking the hosts, lecturers, supervisors and fellow participants, expressing confidence that the relationships and knowledge gained during the seminar would continue to produce results beyond the programme.
“This seminar may be coming to a close, but the relationships we have built and the lessons we have learned will continue to bear fruit, quite literally, for many years to come,” he said.
