Ekiti 2026: Action Alliance nominates Ayo George Deputy Governorship Candidate.

As the June 20 Election in Ekiti draws closer, plans are in top gear by the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, to conduct and supervise a credible election. Campaigns are in full throttle by all the political parties, as well as the Action Alliance. The party in a statement released in May, nominated Ambassador Ayo George, a Media, PR and Event expert with years of experience and expertise in the industry. Announcing the nomination in the release, the Gubernatorial Candidate of the party in the coming election, Comrade Engr. Olu Omotoso, felt elated that the party nominated such a qualified and educated candidate, the release read, “the party is happy to announce the nomination of Ambassador Ayo George as the Deputy Governorship candidate and my running mate in the forthcoming Ekiti elections, it is indeed a time for us all to come together to offer Ekiti State a credible alternative”.

The nomination was also welcomed by the candidate and he was elated to be so nominated, speaking through his personal assistant, Segun Balogun, he said, “it is a thing of joy to be nominated for a task by your people, it is a very special honor and it is a call to service. June 20 is a date with history”.
