Microsoft Power Platform Developer and enterprise solution architect Olorunleke Olorunshola has been honoured with the Limitless Without Borders Award.

This recognition is reserved for innovators redefining how Africa approaches digital transformation, mentorship, and scalable technology.

The award, presented to celebrate trailblazers who are not only building solutions, but also breaking barriers in access, education, and execution across the continent. For Olorunshola, it was more than a personal milestone. It represented years of hands-on leadership in deploying low-code systems that simplify complex workflows for both public and private sector organisations.

“It’s an honour to be recognised for work that directly impacts people,” he said after receiving the award.

“For me, the goal has always been to empower businesses and teams to do more with less by leveraging smart, scalable technology. Recognition like this is a reminder that we’re moving in the right direction.”

Olorunshola’s award-winning work includes the deployment of over 25 enterprise-grade Power Platform solutions that have helped streamline operations, automate high-volume manual tasks, and provide real-time data visibility. His cross-sector experience spans industries such as finance, construction, freelance marketplaces, and government. One of his most impactful projects involved building an integrated Health and Environment Impact Assessment platform for a local government agency. The system replaced outdated, paper-heavy workflows and connected departments through Power Apps, Dataverse, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams, enhancing collaboration and governance.

Judges also noted his commitment to sustainable technology adoption through education and internal capacity building. Olorunshola has led dozens of mentorship sessions, trained over 200 professionals, and helped establish Centers of Excellence that guide responsible Power Platform governance within large enterprises.

“Digital change isn’t just about the apps we build. It’s about shifting how organisations think,” he said. “When you help a team of HR staff automate their own onboarding flow, or enable compliance officers to track cases in real time, you’re not just creating convenience. You’re building a culture of innovation.”

Known for blending technical expertise with a strong sense of purpose, Olorunshola believes in empowering teams, not just delivering code. His work goes beyond deployment to include strategic advisory on architecture, lifecycle management, and user adoption. This holistic approach has helped organisations unlock long-term value from their digital investments.

“I’ve always believed that the future of work in Africa depends on how inclusive our digital tools are,” he added. “This award belongs to every professional who ever decided to automate one task, teach one colleague, or ask one bold question.”

With his continued leadership, mentorship, and dedication to solving real business problems with low-code innovation, Olorunshola remains one of the defining voices in Africa’s growing digital ecosystem.
