HoganHost Surpasses 30,000 Domains Worldwide, Strengthens Position Among Nigeria’s Leading Web Hosting Providers
By Ayo Ake
Nigerian web hosting and domain registration company, HoganHost, has announced that it now manages more than 30,000 domain names globally, marking a significant milestone in its expansion and reinforcing its position among Nigeria’s largest providers of domain registration and web hosting services.
The company disclosed that over 70 percent of the domains under its management are Nigerian country-code domains, including .ng, .com.ng, .org.ng, .net.ng and other Nigerian top-level domains (TLDs). This means more than 21,000 Nigerian domain names are currently managed on the HoganHost platform.
According to the company, the achievement reflects growing confidence in locally managed digital infrastructure as more businesses, startups, government institutions and entrepreneurs adopt Nigerian online identities to establish their digital presence.
Beyond domain registration, HoganHost said it now hosts more than 10,000 websites for customers across multiple countries.
The hosted platforms include corporate websites, e-commerce stores, educational portals, blogs, government websites and business applications, highlighting the increasing demand for reliable hosting infrastructure as digital adoption continues to accelerate across Africa.
The company also noted that despite the growth in customer numbers and traffic, it has maintained approximately 99 percent infrastructure uptime since inception, attributing the performance to continuous investments in its hosting infrastructure and technical operations.
In another milestone, HoganHost announced the launch of round-the-clock customer support, describing itself as the first Nigerian web hosting company to provide true 24-hour, seven-day-a-week customer service.
According to the company, the service covers technical support, website migration, domain management, billing assistance and emergency troubleshooting, ensuring customers have access to support regardless of the time of day.
Commenting on the milestones, HoganHost said the figures represent more than business growth, noting that they reflect thousands of entrepreneurs launching businesses, developers building digital solutions, organisations expanding their services and creators establishing an online presence through its platform.
The company added that while surpassing 30,000 managed domains and 10,000 hosted websites represents an important achievement, its long-term focus remains on expanding infrastructure capacity, improving platform performance and introducing new technologies to support businesses across Nigeria and the broader African market.
Industry observers say Nigeria’s growing internet economy and increasing digital transformation across both the public and private sectors continue to drive demand for locally managed hosting services and country-code domain registrations, creating new opportunities for indigenous technology companies to scale their operations.
With digital adoption expected to accelerate further across Africa, HoganHost said it intends to continue investing in secure, reliable and accessible hosting solutions that support businesses of all sizes while contributing to the continent’s expanding digital economy.
