Tight Security as Ogun Governorship Tribunal Delivers Judgment

Security was tight  at the Isabo Magistrate Court in Abeokuta, venue of the Ogun State Election Petition Tribunal.

The tribunal has begun sitting to deliver judgement in the petition filed by Ladi Adebutu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) against Governor Dapo Abiodun of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Expectedly, the Isabo axis of the Court Complex, was taken over by security agents as early as 6am.

Scores of both armed and unarmed policemen were deployed from various divisions in Abeokuta and environ.

Also, officials of the Department of State Services and those of the Ogun State Amotekun Corps were on ground to prevent breakdown of law and order.

All roads to the Isabo court have been barricaded to prevent both human and vehicular movement, as two armoured personnel carriers were mounted in front of the court.
