Edun Selected for the 2027 Powerlist for the Seventh Consecutive Year

…named PwC purpose award finalist

London based property entrepreneur and philanthropist Yemi Edun has been selected for the 2027 Powerlist for the seventh consecutive year, marking another milestone in a career spanning more than two decades.

The Powerlist recognises 100 influential people of African, African Caribbean and African American heritage in the UK, celebrating leadership, professional achievement and wider societal impact.

Edun’s selection comes alongside his recognition as a finalist for the 2026 PwC Purpose Award at the Celebration of Black Excellence (COBE) Awards.

The independent judging panel acknowledged his professional success, philanthropy and longstanding commitment to giving back, particularly his work providing mobility support to people in need.

As founder of Daniel Ford International, Edun has spent more than two decades advising clients, particularly Nigerians and other international investors, on acquiring and managing property in London and the surrounding commuter belt.

His business has been built on relationships, trust and a deep understanding of the needs of overseas investors.

Beyond business, he supports initiatives spanning mobility, education, the arts and sport through A.C.E, a philanthropic initiative established in 2020.

Among its most personal undertakings is the provision of wheelchairs in memory of his late mother, helping people with mobility challenges regain independence, dignity and access to everyday opportunities.

Commenting on the recognition, Edun said: “I am genuinely honoured to be selected for the Powerlist for the seventh consecutive year. I do not take this recognition for granted. It reflects the importance of consistency, integrity and building something of lasting value.

“I am equally grateful to be a finalist for the PwC Purpose Award, particularly because the judges recognised our work providing mobility support to people in need. The wheelchair initiative in memory of my late mother is especially close to my heart.

“I have always believed that success should mean more than what we achieve professionally or accumulate financially. It should also be reflected in the opportunities we create, the people we support and the difference we make in our communities.”

The 2027 Powerlist marks the 21st edition of the publication. Edun’s selection will be celebrated at the COBE Awards on 30 October 2026 at JW Marriott Grosvenor House in Mayfair, London.
