Face of Change Nigeria Secures Endorsement from the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture and The Creative Economy

Face of Change Nigeria, the impact-driven pageant platform dedicated to inspiring transformation and driving positive societal impact, has received official endorsement from the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture and The Creative Economy for its 2026 edition.

The endorsement comes as the organization prepares to take its movement global. Next year, Nigeria will present its first delegate at the debut edition of Face of Change International. The date and host country will be announced soon.

According to the organization, Face of Change is more than a pageant. It is a drive dedicated to discovering and nurturing the potential of individuals to create positive societal impacts. The platform provides young people a space to share their transformative journeys, challenge societal norms, and lead nation-building efforts.

For 2026, the theme is “HER IMPACT”. The grand finale is scheduled for October 31st, 2026 at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island.

Speaking on the theme, President of Face of Change Nigeria, Mrs. Darlene Godfrey-Oduh, said:

“HER IMPACT focuses on what you can change, not how you look. The theme delves into the influence a woman can have on her community, industry, and the people around her. The word ‘impact’ resonates with leadership. Therefore, we are looking for the leaders of tomorrow to promote social change.”

The winner will be crowned The Impact Queen. She will represent Nigeria at Face of Change International and will receive a car, cash prize, scholarships, ambassadorship opportunities, mentorship, and media features. The reigning queen is Queen Chioma Geraldine, the first titleholder.

The 2026 edition will also feature the Face of Change Nigeria Icons Award, honoring individuals who have made significant impact in business, governance, health, education, and the creative sector.

Mrs. Godfrey-Oduh described the federal endorsement as a major validation.

“We are absolutely thrilled about this endorsement. It aligns with the Federal Government’s vision to use culture and creativity for national development, job creation, and global representation,” she said. “Through our collaboration with the Ministry, we are rolling out projects focused on skill development, leadership training, entrepreneurship workshops, and community impact initiatives. Our goal is to create real opportunities that prepare young Nigerians to lead and build.”
