Kingsley Amafibe Unveils Africa Real Estate Awards

…Sets stage for Lagos December 13

The Founder/CEO, Africa Real Estate Awards, Dr Kingsley Amafibe, has officially unveiled the Africa Real Estate Awards, a platform designed to recognise excellence, innovation, and outstanding contributions to the growth of Africa’s real estate industry.

The unveiling, held in Lagos, attracted key stakeholders, developers, investors, policymakers, architects, and professionals from across the property sector, all united by a shared vision of advancing Africa’s built environment.

Speaking during the launch, Amafibe said the initiative was created to celebrate individuals and organisations that are redefining real estate through innovation, integrity, sustainability, and impactful investments across the continent.

The awards also aim to promote collaboration, partnership, attract investment, and encourage best practices within Africa’s rapidly expanding property market.

“The Africa Real Estate Awards is more than an award ceremony; it is a movement to celebrate visionaries who are transforming Africa’s skylines and creating sustainable communities for future generations,” Amafibe said.

He noted that the platform would honour excellence across multiple categories while creating opportunities for networking, partnerships, and knowledge exchange among industry leaders.

“Our goal is to position African real estate on the global stage by recognising excellence, inspiring innovation, and encouraging investments that will drive economic growth across the continent,” he added.

The organisers said the awards would bring together leading developers, construction firms, real estate professionals, financial institutions, and government agencies. They will showcase projects that are shaping the future of housing and infrastructure in Africa. This initiative, they said, aligns with broader efforts across the continent to recognise leadership and innovation in the real estate sector.

The Africa Real Estate Awards is expected to be a premier platform in Africa for recognising excellence and fostering collaboration and sustainable development in the real estate ecosystem. It will be held in Lagos on 13th December 2026.
