Yakubu Quadri Unveils MyPadi AI to Simplify Crypto Transactions Across Africa

Nigerian tech entrepreneur Yakubu Quadri is gaining attention within Africa’s growing fintech and artificial intelligence ecosystem with the launch of MyPadi AI, an innovative WhatsApp-based crypto off-ramp platform designed to simplify how users convert digital assets into local currencies.

MyPadi AI enables users to seamlessly exchange cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Tether (USDT) into Nigerian Naira and South African Rand. The platform stands out for its chat-based interface, allowing users to complete transactions directly through WhatsApp without the need for traditional applications or complex exchange processes.

By integrating artificial intelligence with widely used messaging infrastructure, Quadri’s solution aims to eliminate barriers that have long hindered mainstream crypto adoption in Africa. He attended the Nigerian Navy Military School before earning a National Diploma in Computer Science from Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH). His entrepreneurial path began in 2016 with the launch of Akube NG, a gadget classifieds platform. He later developed a pension insure platform in 2017 and worked as a full-time computer hardware engineer in 2018, gaining hands-on experience that would influence his approach to building scalable digital solutions.

With MyPadi AI, Quadri is now focused on expanding the platform into a pan-African financial assistant. His long-term vision is to make financial access across the continent as simple and intuitive as sending a message, positioning MyPadi AI as a key player in Africa’s digital finance transformation.
