The organisers of the National Higher Education Forum (NHEF) regret to announce the postponement of the 2017 forum by one week. The event was originally scheduled to hold on December 5 and 6 at the NICON Luxury, Abuja but it will now hold on December 12 and 13, 2017 at the NAF Conference Centre, Abuja. The postponement is due to circumstances beyond our control.

National Higher Education Forum is a multi-sectoral platform design for regular, productive engagements of key higher education stakeholders, education thought-leaders, innovators, researchers, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, et cetera in search of sustainable solutions to Nigeria’s higher education challenges and in pursuit of greater prosperity for the nation.

The list include Dr. David Adebimpe, Founder of Polymath Interscience USA; Prof. Abubakar Rasheed, Executive Secretary of National Universities Commission; Prof. Bappa-Aliyu Muhammadu, Executive Secretary of National Commission for Colleges of Education; Dr. Mas’ud Kazaure, Executive Secretary of National Board for Technical Education. Others include Vice-Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Prof. Ibrahim Garba; Vice-Chancellor of University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Prof. Benjamin Ozumba; President of African University of Science & Technology, Abuja, Prof. Kingston Nyamapfene; Director General of National Teachers Institute; Prof. Kenneth Amaeshi of the University of Edinburgh Business School and Dr. O. Okiti, President of Time Economics, et cetera.

Notwithstanding the postponement, the organisers remain committed to delivering an excellent conference. Interested participants who have not registered for the Forum now have a week-long opportunity to do so.
