Humanitarian Services: Jos Disco, HUAWEI Donate N15.25 Million

As part of their corporate social responsibility to host community, Jos Electricity Distribution (JED) Plc and HUAWEI, a global ICT company in Jos have donated a sum of Fifteen million, two hundred and fifty thousand Naira (N15,250,000) to Safer World Foundation, a non-governmental organization that is actively engaged in humanitarian services in Jos, Plateau state.

Speaking during the presentation of the cheque to Safer World Foundation in Jos, the Managing Director (MD) of JED, Alhaji Mohammed Modibo said that as a responsible and responsive organization, JED in collaboration with HUAWEI has decided to intervene in an area of need of the community through Safer World Foundation, a reputable humanitarian organization that has been doing a good work on the Plateau in order to encourage them to do even more.

“We picked Safer World because of their potentials, also because of their track records. But of course, it does not stop with them; we are still looking at other organization with credible records that we can pass through to the community.”
