Social media is still agog, Davido is still trending. The gist has gone viral, like wildfire! And will most likely continue until the singer comes up with his own side of the story. To think that when Chioma (his wife) was mourning, David was moaning, like someone alluded, appears extremely hilarious. He has become the butt of jokes online.
And critically so considering some posts which made it look as much. Imagine a post with the headline, “Davido Strikes Again with His Manhood”. Another followed, “Now Assurance Don Turn Endurance”. The one that says it all, “American Lady Claims She’s expecting a Child for singer, Davido”.
The US based woman, known as Anita Brown, had in an Instagram live session last Tuesday, explained that she had no idea Davido was married. Messages sent from the Instagram account of the lady claimed she’s pregnant for the afrobeats superstar. In the screenshot messages, which have since gone viral, Anita escalated the drama by reaching out to Nigerian blogs.
At first, she retracted her statements for some reason, insisting that her social media account was hacked. She would later tender evidence in the form of pictures and videos and further screenshots of her conversation with the Nigerian singer as proof of their relationship showing she has been in touch with the music star concerning the pregnancy.
Anita presented her side of the story, including pictures of her and Davido together. She claimed to have first met Davido in Dubai in 2017. That it was not a one-night stand situation. As further proofs of her claims, she shared a video of her backstage while the singer performed at one of his shows in September 2018.
Same for a recent show where she’s seen vibing to a recent Davido’s song. In the midst of the unfolding drama, fans have dug up old song where Davido mentioned a certain Anita, as in his love-inspired-hit ‘Assurance’ dedicated to Chioma, stoking the fire even more.
Anita’s claims of pregnancy already puts a dent on Davido who is known to have four other baby mamas and only recently completed the marriage rites of his long-term girlfriend and special one, Chioma, as a seal of his ‘undying’ love after the tragic loss of their only-child-son, Ifeanyi, last year. But as it seems, Anita appears to be not the only woman right at this moment pregnant with Davido’s child.
Shortly after Anita came forth with proofs backing her claims of being pregnant for Davido, a French lady identified as Ivanna Bay has also accused Davido, born David Adeleke, of impregnating her. The latest entrant revealed on her social media handle that she woke up to see that she isn’t the only woman the singer got pregnant.
Ivanna, who is based in Paris, like Anita, shared evidence of her alleged correspondence with David, on Instagram and WhatsApp about her pregnancy. Taking to her instagram story, Ivanna questioned how many baby mamas Davido has, wondering if they are up to a soccer team.
In another post, a bit witty Ivanna expressed disappointment as she cautioned women to be careful: “I’m just so disappointed in this kind of man. Women be careful! God bless you.” Millions of his fans appear disappointed that he still comes home with the same manhood to Chioma who is pregnant too.
What happened to condoms and contraceptives?! Some asked… Davido is yet to address the allegations but instead appears unbothered as he shared on his Instastory poster of his wave making song ‘Unavailable’.
