The third phase of the Enumeration Area Demarcation (EAD) by the National Population Commission (NPC) for the 2018 national population census has begun in Bauchi.
The second phase of the exercise was earlier conducted in Misau Local Government while Dass Local Government area was selected for the third phase of the exercise.
According to the Bauchi State NPC Federal Commissioner, Alhaji Hassan Bashir, who addressed journalists on Tuesday, the exercise which is expected to last from 20th February to 10th March, 2017 is aimed at dividing the enumeration areas into smaller units for effective coverage.
