Following the suspension of judges for alleged corruption, Delta State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Chief Sunny Onuesoke, on Thursday called on President Muhammadu Buhari to equally suspend Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, and Minister of Science and Technology, Ogbonnaya Onu.
He said they should be suspended for allegedly trying to pervert the course of justice.
He maintained that the government that claims to be fighting a war on corruption should use the suspension of the ministers as an example of its efforts to the world.
Onuesoke, who made the call in an interview with THISDAY, said it was improper that the APC government should allow Amaechi and Onu, accused by two of the seven judges of trying to influence judgements, to remain in the cabinet.
