Yankee Expands European Tour with Davido Concert, Headline Shows

Cyprus-based Sierra Leonean Afrobeats artiste, Yankee, has continued his European performances with appearances in Switzerland and Cyprus as he seeks to broaden his international audience.

The singer recently performed as one of the opening acts at the Zurich stop of Davido’s 5ive Alive Tour, where he entertained concertgoers ahead of the Nigerian music star’s performance.

The appearance marked another outing for the artiste, who has been performing across Europe while promoting his recent releases and expanding his presence within the Afrobeats scene.

In addition to the Zurich performance, Yankee headlined a show at Club Teez, where he performed a selection of his songs alongside unreleased material.

He also participated in a listening session hosted by Urban Vibe Residency at Kaliva on the Beach in Cyprus, where he engaged with music enthusiasts and previewed some of his latest work.

The performances form part of a series of engagements that have taken the Sierra Leonean artiste across Europe following a homecoming concert in Sierra Leone earlier this year. He has also released a number of singles, including Hotter Than Eternity, Do Me, and C’est La Vie.

According to his management, Yankee is expected to continue his international engagements in the coming months as he works on new music and collaborations while seeking to grow his audience across Africa and Europe.
