Igbo Culture Ambassador Nwoye Marks 70th Birthday in Grand Style

…Wife, Children Pay Glowing Tributes

Ndigbo in Ejigbo, Lagos State, alongside friends, associates and well-wishers from across Nigeria, gathered at Arch Bishop Adewale Martins Hall S.S Peter Catholic Church Okeafa Ejigbo LCDA, Lagos State Event Centre on Saturday, June 13, to celebrate the Onyendu Ndigbo in Ejigbo and Bobaselu of Ejigbo Land, Alex Nwoye, as he marked his 70th birthday amidst pomp and pageantry.

In a heartfelt congratulatory message, his wife, Lolo Jacinta Nwoye (Oso Ra Di), the Yeye Bobaselu of Ejigbo Land, described her husband as an extraordinary man whose life has been marked by love, sacrifice and service.

“Seventy years ago, God blessed the world with an extraordinary man, and I have been privileged to share my life with you for the past 42 years.
“From our humble beginnings in Papa Ajao, Mushin, to building our home in Ejigbo, Lagos, you have remained a pillar of strength and grace. Through every season of our journey together, you have shown gentleness, simplicity, resilience and unwavering hard work.
“You are a loving husband, a devoted father, a provider and a protector. Beyond our family, you have become a role model and an inspiration to many.
“Your generous heart has embraced everyone who crosses your path, and you have trained and uplifted many young men in Uga and beyond.
“Your impact and service have earned you honour and respect as Ochiri Ozuo na Uga, Bobaselu of Ejigbo Land and Onyendu Ndigbo in Ejigbo, Lagos. These are testaments to a life of service, leadership and uncommon influence.
“I am deeply proud to be your wife, not only because of your achievements, but because of the kind of man you are to everyone around you.
“You remain our hero, and your life continues to fill my heart with joy and gratitude. Thank you for your love, your sacrifices and the beautiful life we have built together. I thank God for the gift of you and look forward to many more years by your side,” she prayed.

Similarly, in a goodwill message on behalf of the children and grandchildren, his son, Uchenna Nwoye, paid tribute to the celebrant for his exemplary life and enduring values.

“Today, we celebrate 70 years of a life marked by hard work, generosity, wisdom and positive impact. Dad, one of the greatest lessons you have taught me is the importance of responsibility providing for one’s family, making wise decisions and creating opportunities for others.

“Through your guidance, I learned valuable lessons about business, finance and understanding people lessons that continue to shape my life today.

“You have always been a hardworking and determined man, earning the respect and admiration of those around you. Your generosity has touched many lives, and your willingness to help others is one of the qualities people appreciate most about you.

“While many know you as a businessman, a leader and a friend, I have had the privilege of knowing you as a father. Through your example, I have learned the value of perseverance, discipline and commitment to family.

“Seventy years is a remarkable milestone. It represents a lifetime of experiences, accomplishments, challenges overcome and countless lives positively impacted.

“May the years ahead be filled with good health, peace, joy and the satisfaction of knowing how deeply you are respected, appreciated and celebrated,” he said
