Jovico Leads Nigerian Entrepreneurs on China Business Tour

A delegation of 28 Nigerian entrepreneurs and business executives has returned from a high-level business immersion program in China organised by Dr. Ewulu Joseph Ifeanyi, Founder and CEO of Jovico Investment Ltd, with participants describing the experience as a transformative step toward building direct international supply relationships and unlocking new business opportunities in Nigeria.

The intensive two-and-a-half-week program, which ran from April 16 to May 5, 2026, was organised by Jovico Investment Ltd in partnership with Engineer Chidomere Ndubuisi, CEO of Pamtech Group. The initiative took participants across major Chinese commercial and industrial cities including Guangzhou, Beijing, Wuhan, Jinan, and several other strategic manufacturing hubs.

Designed to bridge the gap between Nigerian entrepreneurs and Chinese manufacturers, the program focused on helping participants eliminate costly middlemen, gain firsthand access to suppliers, and better understand how to identify profitable gaps within the Nigerian market.

At the centre of the initiative was Jovico Investment Ltd, whose years of trade operations and supplier relationships in China gave participants direct exposure to manufacturers, factory operations, sourcing systems, and commercial negotiations that are typically difficult for independent importers to access.

Dr. Ewulu Joseph Ifeanyi personally coordinated the on-ground operations throughout the duration of the trip, overseeing accommodation, transportation, business meetings, factory visits, and participant logistics across multiple cities.

Participants praised his role in ensuring seamless coordination and removing barriers often associated with international business travel in China.

“Dr. Ewulu made the trip very easy. We did not suffer any language barrier with him. Networking was made easy, getting to any location was not a problem, contacting anyone. He has been excellent at this,” said Oladeji Zephaniah Eri-Oluwa, Founder of Architecture Influencer Ltd and Juggarnaut Africa Limited.

Engineer Chidomere Ndubuisi coordinated participant travel arrangements from Nigeria to China, ensuring smooth international logistics for the delegation.

Among the participants were Salisu Aminu Mohammed of DAdylisa Group, Oladeji Zephaniah Eri-Oluwa of Architecture Influencer Ltd and Juggarnaut Africa Limited, and Nkeiru Anastesia Ekwenie of Norval Deluxe Interior, all of whom described the program as impactful and highly practical for their businesses.

The delegation explored China’s diverse industrial ecosystems, with Guangzhou offering large-scale wholesale and export manufacturing exposure, while Beijing, Wuhan, and Jinan provided insight into broader supply chain operations, innovation systems, and industrial production networks.

Jovico Investment Ltd, known for its operations in electric bikes and automotive product distribution across Nigeria, leveraged its existing trade relationships in China to create a practical learning environment for the participants. The company’s established supplier network enabled direct engagement with manufacturers, opening up opportunities for better pricing, faster procurement timelines, and stronger business partnerships for Nigerian entrepreneurs.

For businesses operating in sectors such as architecture, interior design, automotive, retail, construction, and consumer goods, direct sourcing from manufacturers has become increasingly important as Nigerian businesses seek to reduce import costs and remain competitive in a rapidly evolving economy.

The organisers described the 2026 edition as the beginning of a broader vision to create recurring international trade mentorship and business exposure programs for Nigerian entrepreneurs and executives.

While dates for the next edition have not yet been announced, participants say the program has already reshaped how they approach international trade, supplier relationships, and business expansion opportunities.
