BET9JA Foundation Returns to Warri With 3rd Edition Of Fitness Festival In A Growing Movement For Health And Wellness
Warri pulsed with energy and intention as Bet9ja Foundation hosted the third edition of its flagship wellness initiative, the Bet9ja Foundation Fitness Festival 3.0, transforming Delta Mall into a vibrant hub of movement, music, and community on Good Friday, April 3, 2026. What began as a fitness event has now evolved into a growing movement, one that is steadily reshaping how Nigerians engage with their health.
Since its debut in 2024 at Delta Mall, Warri, the Bet9ja Foundation Fitness Festival has grown edition by edition into one of the region’s most anticipated community wellness platforms. The second edition returned to the same grounds in 2025, each year drawing larger crowds and deeper community investment. The 3.0 experience continued that trajectory, welcoming over 700 fitness enthusiasts and cementing the festival’s reputation as a catalyst for lasting lifestyle change.
From 6:00 AM, participants were immersed in a high-energy lineup of aerobics, HIIT, Afro Dance, Tabata, Zumba, and yoga sessions, led by 14 experienced coaches who kept the crowd energised, motivated, and moving from start to finish.

A standout highlight of the morning was the Inter-Gym Challenge, where fitness communities from across Warri competed fiercely for the bragging rights of being the city’s top gym, with Mazino Gym emerging as the champion, igniting excitement, friendly rivalry, and an undeniable sense of community pride.
Complementing the physical activities, over 300 free medical screenings were conducted on-site, a powerful demonstration of the Foundation’s commitment to preventive healthcare and holistic wellbeing, ensuring that participants left not just energised, but better informed about their health.
At its core, the initiative is a direct expression of Bet9ja Foundation’s mission to promote health and wellness within Nigerian communities, creating accessible, engaging platforms that inspire individuals to take charge of their wellbeing and adopt healthier lifestyles.

Speaking on the impact of the festival, Omotola Oronti, Manager, Marketing & Communications, Bet9ja Foundation, said, “With each edition, we are building more than an event, we are building a culture. The Fitness Festival reflects our commitment to promoting health and wellness within Nigerian communities. Seeing over 700 people show up, move together, and prioritise their wellbeing is a powerful reminder that change is possible when we create the right platforms.”
The spirit on the ground was equally palpable. Faith, an attendee, captured the mood saying, “The energy was unreal. It didn’t matter your fitness level, everyone felt included.
This is something Warri needs more of.”
As the festival continues to grow in scale and impact, Bet9ja Foundation remains steadfast in its commitment to expanding its reach and deepening its influence, one community and one movement at a time.
