Eko Heritage Awards 2026: Call for Nominations

The Eko Heritage Awards, one of Nigeria’s premier cultural honors, is calling for nominations for its 6th edition. Established to recognize and celebrate outstanding contributions to Nigerian culture and heritage, the Eko Heritage Awards has become a benchmark for excellence in the country’s entertainment, arts, and cultural landscape.

This year’s theme, “From Adversity to Stardom,” celebrates the resilience and determination of individuals and organizations overcoming obstacles to achieve greatness. According to Egbe Emmanuel, Organizer, “This theme is inspired by the incredible stories of our past winners, who have turned challenges into opportunities for growth and success. We aim to inspire and motivate individuals to strive for stardom, despite adversity.”

The Eko Heritage Awards recognizes outstanding contributions to Nigerian culture and heritage across two segments: the Honorary Category and the Voted Category. The Honorary Category acknowledges exceptional achievements and contributions, while the Voted Category allows fans and supporters to recognize their favorite artists, creatives, and cultural ambassadors.

The Eko Heritage Awards seeks to promote Nigerian culture, celebrate creative excellence, and provide a platform for emerging talents.

The awards is to recognize and reward outstanding contributions to Nigerian culture and heritage while promote cultural diversity and exchange. It is also to inspire and motivate individuals to strive for excellence and provide a platform for emerging talents to showcase their work.

Past winners, such as Daveplay, Best Blogger of the Year, Lynda Aguocha, Podcaster of the Year, Bisilola Bakare, Special Recognition Award recipient,exemplify the theme. Their stories demonstrate how challenges can be catalysts for success.

The Eko Heritage Awards 2026 will take place on July 25, 2026, alongside the grand finale of Miss Eko International 7th edition.
