UAC of Nigeria Plc has announced its results for the year ended December 31, 2025 with revenue of about N343.4 billion, representing an increase of 74 per cent from N196.9 billion declared in the year ended December 31, 2024.
The growth in revenue followed a successful completion of its transformational acquisition of C.H.I. Limited alongside continued contributions from the Group’s core operating businesses.
The company also announced its fourth quarter (Q4) of 2025 with a revenue of N183.77 billion, 61.7per cent higher compared to N113.64 billion in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2024, supported by the addition of three months revenue of C.H.I Limited.
The 2025 financial year marked a strategic inflection point for the Group, characterised by a significant expansion in scale, entry into large consumer growth categories, and strong underlying earnings momentum, albeit alongside N21.2 billion in one-off acquisition-related costs incurred during the year.
Profit before tax was N7.5billion in 2025, about per cent drop from N25.5billion in the prior year. Excluding N21.2billion one-off acquisition costs, underlying profit before tax was N28.7 billion in 2025, 76per cent higher compared to underlying profit before tax of N16.3billion in 2024.
However, UAC Nigeria operating profit stood at N8.2 billion in Q4 2025, down from N12.2 billion in Q4 2024, reflecting the impact of one-off transaction costs related to the acquisition of C.H.I. Limited. Excluding these one-off costs, operating profit surged to N20.3 billion, representing a 66 per cent year-on-year increase.
Commenting on the results, Group Managing Director, Fola Aiyesimoju, in a statement stated: “2025 was a pivotal year for UAC. The completion of the acquisition of C.H.I. Limited significantly increased the scale of our Group, with revenue reaching N343 billion, a 74 per cent increase compared to 2024.
“C.H.I. has expanded our portfolio into large, growth categories, including drinking yoghurt, evaporated milk, and juices anchored by the Chivita, Hollandia, and Capri-Sun brands, while the SuperBite and Beefie brands complement our existing presence in the snacks category.”
