Footy Moments With Nabila Foundation has officially launched #LaceUpADream, a grassroots football initiative focused on equipping underprivileged yet highly talented young footballers with essential resources to pursue their dreams.

With the support of Africa Bitcoin Community Hub and in strategic partnership with Afa Sports, the initiative has designed and produced its first 200 pairs of high-quality football boots, specifically created for grassroots players across African communities.

A key dimension of the initiative is the intentional integration of Bitcoin education and adoption awareness. The support from Africa Bitcoin Community Hub is aimed at reinforcing the importance of financial inclusion and digital sovereignty across the continent. As a result, the football boots visibly feature the Bitcoin logo, serving as a symbol of empowerment, innovation, and future-focused thinking for young African players.

“The visible Bitcoin logo on the boots is deliberate,” the Foundation stated. “It represents opportunity, financial freedom, and education. Football is a powerful cultural connector in Africa, and we are using that platform to spark curiosity and conversations around Bitcoin adoption on the continent.”

The decision to partner with Afa Sports reflects a broader commitment to African-owned solutions for African development. The Foundation emphasized that sustainable wealth creation cannot be achieved by consistently exporting Africa’s resources, capital, and consumer confidence to Western markets.
