AGF Fagbemi to Chair Afrikanwatch Editor’s wedding, as Amori, Ndakara, Adefuye, Oghojafor, Chiemeke, others, expected
The Editor-in-Chief, Afrikanwatch Network, Lagos, Mark Columbus Orgu will tie the knot with her lovebird, Naomi Chinwe Nwanua.
According to the Head, strategy and public engagement of the news outfit, Engr. Isaac Eju, said that, Orgu, a Lagos based author, opinionist, public and social affairs commentator, senior media consultant and biographer has played vital role in the communication sector, and has deemed it fit to begin a family life.
Meanwhile, the traditional marriage will hold in Delta State on January 31, 2026, as a foremost Urhobo Philanthropist, Chief (Barr) Benson Ndakara is the chairman of the day, Prof. Ben Oghojafor, the Vice Chancellor, Dennis Osadebay University, Anwai, Asaba is the father of the day, Prof. Stella Chiemeke, Vice Chancellor, University of Delta , Agbor, Mother of the day, as eminent Deltans are expected as special guests, to honour the Editor and wife.
In a similar vein, the white wedding will take place in Lagos on February 7, as the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Prince Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, will chair the occasion while distinguished Sen. Anthony Adefuye, the Olugbon of Lagos is the father of day, Dr. (Mrs) Obiageli Modebelu is the mother of the day.
The AGF has commended the Editor for his brevity and intention to start a family life, even as he wants the duo to begin in a life of togetherness in a high spirit. Fagbemi who has been a long time mentor to the Editor cajoled him: “Now, when you are married, make sure you hand over your monthly pay to Naomi Fagbemi assured the duo of chairing the wedding.
