The Abosede Tomori Foundation (ATF), in partnership with Study AI, has launched Nigeria’s first AI-driven examination preparatory platform, aimed at transforming how senior secondary students prepare for WAEC, NECO, and JAMB exams.

The initiative, which combines intelligent tutoring with a digital, curriculum-aligned learning environment, was unveiled this week in Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II, where 200 SS3 students from Isolo and Ejigbo LCDAs were selected as the platform’s pilot beneficiaries.

For millions of Nigerian students, national examinations remain a major hurdle due to limited access to quality study materials, outdated learning methods, and a lack of personalized academic guidance—factors that have contributed to persistently high failure rates across the country.

Study AI directly addresses these gaps by offering adaptive learning paths, real-time corrections, gamified motivation systems, group study features, and realistic mock exams. The platform is designed to scale and aims to support hundreds of thousands of students nationwide, providing a modern, interactive, and effective approach to exam preparation.

Speaking at the launch, Segun Tomori, Founder of ATF and Special Assistant on Media to the Minister of Solid Minerals Development, said the initiative is part of the foundation’s Skills Development & Scholarship programme, one of its five core pillars.

“We are pioneering a paradigm shift in exam preparation through the deployment of Artificial Intelligence. Study AI is innovative and unprecedented in Nigeria, and we are proud to support the students in my constituency. Our goal is to help them excel in their final exams and gain admission into tertiary institutions,” Tomori said.

Yvonne Momah, CEO of Study AI, described the platform as a game-changer for exam readiness, emphasizing its intelligent, personalized learning model.

“Our mission is simple: to make high-quality education accessible, affordable, and engaging for every learner. With AI-driven tutoring, real-time feedback, and gamified motivation, we are transforming exam preparation and unlocking brighter futures across Nigeria,” Momah stated.

The foundation intends to track student performance, reward top achievers, provide ongoing online support, and conduct mock examinations to ensure participants are fully prepared for success.

Since its launch in July, ATF has executed several impact-driven initiatives, including health outreaches benefiting 250 residents, N50,000 cash grants to 50 small businesses, distribution of food packs to indigent families, and the provision of learning materials to 200 pupils under its “Back to School” programme.

“This initiative represents the next frontier in education in Nigeria. We are not just teaching students; we are equipping them with the tools, technology, and confidence to compete and succeed in a highly competitive academic environment,” Tomori added.

The AI platform pilot will run until the commencement of next year’s examinations, with the foundation and Study AI poised to expand access to more students nationwide in the coming months.
