Tech Terminal Expands National ICT Program, Seeks CSR Sponsors to Reach More Nigerian Schools
November 25, 2026 – Nigeria: Tech Terminal Ltd, one of Nigeria’s leading EdTech companies, is expanding its National ICT Upgrade Program, which has already equipped 12 government-owned schools with modern computer laboratories. The initiative, aimed at transforming digital education in Nigeria, now seeks corporate CSR partners to help scale its impact to 185 schools nationwide reaching approximately 100,000 students.
Since its launch earlier this year, the program has provided students with hands-on access to ICT tools, coding training, and digital skills development aligned with the Nigerian national curriculum. Schools that have benefited include Dayspring School, Franseka, Gordons, Authentic Charis International Academy, Aflame Model Academy, Scripture Union Model Academy, Osusu Senior Secondary School, Anne Memorial Schools, Model Senior Secondary School, Winning for Christ Academy, Practical Computer Comprehensive School, and Freedom Word International Academy.
Beyond infrastructure, the initiative focuses on teacher capacity-building, ensuring that instructors are equipped to sustain digital learning programs. Dedicated Tech Terminal faculty members are stationed in schools to run labs, teach ICT, and maintain equipment providing a sustainable six-year model that prevents the common failure of donated ICT labs.
The program is implemented in collaboration with the State Universal Basic Education Boards (SUBEBs), the Federal Ministry of Education (FME), and the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Capacity Development (OSAP-CD), ensuring alignment with national education standards and broad-reaching impact.
“Through this initiative, students are not just learning to use computers; they’re gaining coding, web development, and artificial intelligence skills that prepare them for the future workforce,” said Nnedinma Obioha, CEO, Tech Terminal Ltd. “We are now inviting more corporate partners to join us in this effort so we can extend these opportunities to thousands more children across Nigeria.”
Tech Terminal’s CSR sponsorship model allows companies to directly support the development of digital skills among Nigerian youth while being recognized for their commitment to education and national development.
