“Leading with Purpose. How The Revival Touched Lives and Sparked a Journey of Freedom”

By Bisola Temiloluwa Onifade

In June 2025 I hosted a prayer and teaching programme in Nigeria titled The Revival. It was a gathering that brought people together with one desire in their hearts. They wanted to encounter God in a fresh and personal way. As a ministry leader I felt a deep responsibility to create a space where people could experience healing, clarity and spiritual renewal. What I did not expect was how powerfully God would move through the message of mind deliverance.

During the programme I taught on the importance of renewing the mind and breaking free from the invisible patterns that hold people back. Many battles are won or lost in the mind and I wanted everyone present to understand that true deliverance begins with the transformation of thought. As I spoke I felt led to share the story behind my first book Breaking Every Yoke. The message of the book aligned perfectly with what God was doing in the room. It became a bridge that helped people see that freedom is not a distant idea. It is a reality that can be experienced when the mind is restored.

The response was overwhelming. People shared testimonies of clarity, emotional release and renewed strength. Some described it as the first time they truly understood the connection between their thoughts and their spiritual growth. Others said the teaching opened their eyes to patterns they had carried for years. It was a moment that reminded me why I write and why I lead. Ministry is not about performance. It is about transformation.

Since its release Breaking Every Yoke has continued to touch lives across Nigeria and even in the United Kingdom. Readers have reached out to share how the book helped them confront long standing struggles and embrace the freedom God offers. Some have used it in prayer groups. Others have shared it with friends who needed encouragement. Knowing that a message God placed in my heart is now strengthening people in different parts of the world is one of the greatest gifts of my journey.

The Revival was more than an event. It was a reminder that God still meets people in gatherings where there is hunger and expectation. It was also a confirmation that my calling as a ministry leader and author is to help people experience freedom in every part of their lives. As I continue to teach, write and minister my prayer is that many more lives will be awakened to the truth that God desires wholeness for the mind, the heart and the spirit.
