Kim Wins 2025 May & Baker Professional Service Award in Pharmacy

May and Baker Nigeria Plc, the nation’s premier pharmaceutical manufacturing company, has announced Pharm. Kim Jerry Bot, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of KIMKY Pharmaceuticals and Enterprises, and Director General/Chief Executive Officer of the Plateau State Drugs and Medical Commodities Management Agency (PS-DMCMA), as the winner of the 2025 May and Baker Professional Service Award in Pharmacy.


Pharm. Bot emerged winner of the highly coveted award ahead of several other distinguished professionals, in recognition of his outstanding and innovative contributions to pharmaceutical sciences and research in Nigeria.


The award, which previously carried a prize value of N1 million, was recently increased to N1.5 million by the Managing Director/CEO of May and Baker Nigeria Plc, Pharm. Patrick Ajah. Pharm. Bot becomes the first recipient to benefit from the increased prize.


The award presentation took place during the 98th Annual National Conference of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) held recently in Kano. Pharm. Bot received the award plaque and certificate from Pharm. Chiagozie Maduneme, Head of Sales, Pharma Sales and Marketing, May and Baker Nigeria Plc. In his remarks, Pharm. Bot expressed profound appreciation to the PSN for the recognition of his efforts in advancing pharmacy practice.


He described the award as a strong motivation to sustain his commitment to excellence and innovation in the profession. He also lauded the management of May & Baker Nigeria Plc for their consistency in supporting professional growth and rewarding excellence through this initiative.


Instituted in 2005, the May and Baker Professional Service Award in Pharmacy celebrates outstanding achievements and contributions by practitioners, public servants, industry leaders, and academicians/researchers in the study and practice of pharmacy in Nigeria.


Over the years, it has become one of the most prestigious honours in the nation’s pharmaceutical landscape, reinforcing May and Baker’s vision of promoting excellence and ethical practice in the profession.
