Following the prestigious chieftaincy title conferment of Onowu Igboland on Chief Duru Mike Ejiogu by the South East Council of Traditional Rulers on Saturday, August 23, 2025, and continued pouring of encomiums on him by men and women of goodwill, Engr. Celestine Opurum (Ekwueme of Dim Na Nume Isu), has joined other eminent personalities in Imo state and across Nigeria to congratulate the Onowu Igboland title holder – Ejiogu- on his well deserved chieftaincy conferment.

In a heartfelt congratulatory note, Engr. Celestine Opurum, immediate past President- General of United Isu Progressive Union (UIPU) Federated described the honour as not only a well deserved recognition, but also a true testament to Ejiogu’s sterling leadership qualities as a respected community leader, uncommon philanthropist, and champion of youth empowernment initiatives that drive change.

In a special congratulatory note made available to THISDAY, Engr Opurum said the chieftaincy title conferment would motivate High Chief Ejiogu to do more for the good of Igbo nationality.
