Linda Ejiofor, Stan Eze, Beverly Osu dazzles as new movie ‘The Serpent’s Gift’ hits cinema

A-List artistes such as Linda Ejiofor‑Suleiman, Stan Nze, Tina Mba, Daniel Etim‑Effiong and Beverly Osu are among top artistes featuring in a new movie ‘The Serpent’s Gift.’

The movie which will hit the cinemas across the country starting from August 29, 2025 is directed by Kayode Kasum and produced by Winifred Nkiru Mena Ajakpovi

‘The Serpent’s Gift ‘ centres around the story of a respected Eastern Nigerian businessman portrayed by Nduka Sylvanus who, after his sudden death, his widow Ijeoma portrayed by Linda Ejiofor becomes the unexpected guardian of his empire prompting a fierce battle with the deceased family to reclaim it from her.

The movie full of intrigues, symbolism, and drama unravels a legacy Ijeoma must protect as the widow and showcase typical inheritance battles many widows face involving power, tradition and betrayal.

The actors including Ric Hassani portray the central figures in a high-stakes battle over legacy, power, and cultural obligations following the death of Nduka Sylvanus.

While Tina Mba features as the matriarch and fierce adversary within the family, Stan Nze acts the role of a power-hungry heir and Daniel Etim-Effiong features as a polished lawyer and business rival.

Beverly Osu displays her acting skill as a wildcard, bold, emotional, and dangerous individual playing her card in the battle for inheritance.
