Adebimpe Osanyintuyi: Building Diosdlite, Empowering Women Entrepreneurs
By Ugo Aliogo
For many women in Nigeria, leaving the security of a corporate job to start their own business can feel like stepping into the unknown. Adebimpe Osanyintuyi knows this journey well. As the founder of Dios Dlite Healthy Treats and a passionate mentor for women navigating the leap from corporate roles to entrepreneurship, she combines two distinct but complementary missions: promoting healthier living through her brand, and helping women build sustainable businesses with clarity and confidence.
Osanyintuyi’s professional journey began in the corporate world, armed with a marketing degree from Bond University, South Africa, and experience managing household names like Horlicks and Panadol at Nutricima PZ and GSK. Yet, she felt compelled to create something that reflected her passion for joyful, guilt-free healthy eating—a vision that led to the founding of Dios Dlite.
Under her leadership, Dios Dlite has grown into a nationally recognised brand offering Greek yogurt, dried fruits, and preservative-free snacks in over 190 retail outlets across Nigeria. The company challenges the notion that healthy living must be restrictive or inaccessible, making nutritious food enjoyable and attainable for everyday Nigerians.
But Osanyintuyi’s ambitions extend beyond her business. Having experienced firsthand the challenges of leaving a structured corporate environment, she has made it her personal mission to support women making similar transitions. Many women face uncertainty, lack of clear guidance, and fear of failure when starting or scaling their own ventures. Her mentorship focuses on providing structure, clarity, and practical tools to ease this process.
“Moving from a corporate job to entrepreneurship can be overwhelming,” she explains. “I want to help women navigate that change with confidence, so they can build lasting businesses that reflect their values and strengths.”
Her approach emphasises that entrepreneurship is not just about individual success but about creating opportunities that uplift others. Through coaching, consulting, and speaking engagements, Osanyintuyi shares insights from her own journey—balancing the demands of starting a business while staying true to her purpose.
Her work in both arenas has earned recognition, including winning the Lagos State SME Pitch and being named the Fastest Growing SME in Nigeria by Business Day for Dios Dlite. Yet, she remains focused on impact rather than accolades.“The best ideas come from listening to the people you serve,” she says. “Whether it’s creating healthier food options or supporting women entrepreneurs, understanding their needs shapes everything.”
As she looks ahead, her plans to expand Dios Dlite’s product range while deepening her commitment to mentoring women. For her, leadership means service—building businesses and communities that thrive together.
