Tinubu Young Generation Forum Felicitates President Tinubu on Second Year Anniversary in Office

Hon. Prince Kevin Timothy, National President of the Tinubu Young Generation Forum (TYGF), has extended warm congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his second year anniversary in office as Nigeria’s President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.

In a statement issued by Mr. Taiwo Akindolu, Chief Press Secretary of the Forum, Hon. Prince Kevin Timothy highlighted the milestone as a significant period marked by dedicated service and transformative leadership under President Tinubu’s administration.

The statement praised President Tinubu’s unwavering commitment to empowering Nigeria’s youth and tackling socio-economic challenges that have long impeded their progress. Under his leadership, several youth-focused initiatives have been launched, yielding tangible results.

Among the notable achievements is the establishment of NELFUND, a pioneering financial support program designed to provide accessible funding to students across the country. This initiative has opened doors for many young Nigerians to pursue education without the burden of financial constraints.

Additionally, the administration’s Skill Acquisition Programs have been instrumental in equipping young people with essential skills to compete in the job market, fostering entrepreneurship and self-reliance.

President Tinubu’s recent Free Education program in 33 Federal Science and Technical Colleges was also commended. The program offers free tuition, feeding, accommodation, and monthly stipends, significantly reducing barriers to quality education and enabling students to focus fully on their studies.

On the economic front, the administration has demonstrated fiscal responsibility by settling ₦100 billion in SUKUK and IMF loans, underscoring prudent economic stewardship.

Infrastructure development remains a priority, with ongoing projects such as the Coastal Highway from Lagos to Calabar, traversing seven states, and the Badagry to Sokoto Federal Highway. These projects aim to improve connectivity and stimulate economic growth nationwide.

Hon. Prince Kevin Timothy expressed pride in President Tinubu’s leadership, describing it as a beacon of hope for marginalized and disenfranchised youth. The TYGF looks forward to continued collaboration with the administration to build a prosperous Nigeria where young people are empowered to drive innovation, growth, and national development.
