Babatunde Omosoluyi, professionally known as Praizeband, is a renowned gospel musician and live band director who has grown into a major force within the global music performance industry. Born on March 27, 1985, in Shomolu, Lagos State, and hailing from Okitipupa, Ondo State, Babatunde now resides in the United Kingdom, where he continues to expand his international reach.
A graduate of Accounting from Lagos State University in 2012, Babatunde brings a unique perspective to the entertainment industry. He seamlessly blends the discipline and strategic thinking of accounting with the creative passion of music. Through Praizeband Muzik Entertainment, he operates with a vision that extends far beyond melodies, driven by a mission to share hope and joy while using music as a tool for mental health support and spiritual transformation.
Babatunde’s professional music journey officially began in 2016 with the launch of his live band. However, his musical roots run much deeper. He was an active choir member in his church and also served as a treble backup singer for the De Grace Muzik Band. These early experiences played a pivotal role in shaping his vocal versatility, musical sensitivity, and commanding stage presence.
Today, Praizeband performs on notable global platforms, appearing at corporate, social, and gospel events across different countries. His performances consistently affirm the belief that good music knows no boundaries.
