Giving Back To The Community Is My Major Priority- Benson

The District Governor 9110, Rotarian Ifenyinwa Rita Ejezie, has visited the Rotary club of Lagos central, as part of efforts to strengthen and prop up clubs within the district.

Speaking at the event which was held in Lagos recently, Rotarian Ifenyinwa Rita Ejezie applauded the Rotary club of Lagos central for the vision and upcoming development set to achieve within the calendar year.

She revealed her delightfulness towards the auspicious strategy by the club.

“I’m impressed, this is my second club I’m visiting this year, recently I was with Rotary Club of Ikeja and it’s been wonderful all the way, and I’m sure, since Ikeja opened it well, Lagos Centre has done tremendously well.

I’m sure the rest of the clubs by the time I go round visiting them, I will only have beautiful stories to tell about what they have indeed lined up to touch humanity within our societies and even across the globe.”

The President, Rotary Club of Lagos Central, Rotarian Abayomi Benson verbalize euphoric sense for the privilege given to him to excise his leadership qualities.

“I feel elated and very happy, it’s an opportunity, not for the position but for for the opportunity to give back to my community.”

He also emphasised on the vision and goals sets to achieve within this year.

“We have so many we want to do; we want to touch people’s lives, we want to make sure people around us are elevated but the most important one that comes to mind is that, this year, we want to feed one thousand people before the end of the year.”
