Boss Mustapha Congratulates Akume, Gbajabiamila

Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Boss Mustapha, has congratulated the new Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, and the Chief of Staff (CoS) to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, following their recent appointments by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a statement by the Director Information, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Willie Bassey, Mustapha described Akume, who was Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs as a forthright, loyal and dedicated statesman with accumulated record of experience in harnessing human and administrative finesse to accomplish onerous task in enhancing effective and result-oriented governance.

On the appointment of Gbajabiamila as the Chief of Staff to the President, Mustapha expressed hope that he would bring his wealth of experience garnered over the years in the leadership of the National Assembly to bear on his new assignment for the realisation of the Renewed Hope agenda of the present administration.

The former SGF, however, assured his successor of his availability to provide him with the required support and guidance in any way possible to enable him succeed and wished them a fruitful tenure in office.
