Niger APC Inaugurates 36-man State Executive Committee

Five months after being elected the All Progressives Congress APC in Niger state has inaugurated its States Executive Committee.

The 36 man executive was inaugurated at the party’s secretariat by the State Chairman of the APC, Mr. Haliru Zakari Jikantoro, who asked them to “hit the ground running” and reposition the party for better performance.

Jikantoro also told members of the executive to be law abiding and work in accordance with the constitution of the party.

“We should avoid acts that are capable of lowering our reputation as individuals and the party in general,” the chairman said, adding that: “We should all use our positions to enrich the party and its constitution.”

Jikantoro said as the 2023 general elections approache the executive should be in the forefront of mobilising the electorate to vote for the APC.

“We should start working from now on how to win all our polling units, wards zones, local government and the state in all the elections taking place in 2023,” Jikantoro said.
