Movie X : A surreal experience at my first Outdoor movie Event in Lagos Nigeria

So the Movie X Event took place over the holiday at the Prestigious Amore Gardens in Lekki, Lagos Nigeria.

The theme for the event was mental health awareness as the event was the perfect opportunity to de-stress unwind and make memorable moments with friends and loved ones.

It was the most perfect evening, felt like an unreal fantasy World (at least it was for me ) and the setting/atmosphere complimented the feeling i laid there under my blanket occasionally gazing at the beautiful stars While Drinking from
my wine glass and I wished that i had brought boo along like most people there or maybe a
couple of friends.

The organisers screened an old classic favourite movie and I couldn’t have felt happier. There was an occasional short talk interruption about mental health awareness and they somehow found a way to still make it interesting.

Some popular celebrities were also in attendance, I remember seeing Uti and the Nollywood star Chris okagbue.There was a lot to eat and drink, it makes me sad remembering that I couldn’t eat so much that day.

There was a lot of excitement among the attendees and the ladies couldn’t stay off their phones (Lagos people can snap pictures for africa sha) little wonder the event created a lot
of social media buzz.

The event was sponsored by some popular brands, including Nigeria Info FM, The New Blue Nun wines and Cookie jar. Truly, I had the most wonderful time at the event,made quite a couple of friends/business
contacts, was gifted a beautiful box of souvenir and I’ve been preaching the event to everyone I’ve met ever since. I’m in anticipation for the next and this time I’m taking all the
doubting thomases along.
