CIFC confers fellowship on Adegbola Oreyingbo

Adegbola Oreyingbo has been inducted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Finance and Control (CIFC).
The fellowship recognized his more than 15 years of leadership in internal audit, risk management, financial governance, and regulatory transformation across Africa, North America, and Europe.
The Institute commended his work in strengthening compliance systems for SMEs, implementing internal control frameworks in financial institutions, and promoting governance reforms across international subsidiaries.
His contributions at Bank of Novascotia, Canada, and Citibank Canada, particularly in regulatory transformation and audit quality assurance, were highlighted as exemplary.
Oreyingbo described the fellowship as a motivation to continue advancing the audit profession and supporting governance restructuring across emerging markets.
