Omoyele Sowore Shot in Abuja

Leader of #RevolutionaryNow, Mr Omoyele Sowore, was this morning shot in Abuja by a Police woman. Sowore was addressing some of his supporters at the Unity Fountain along Shehu Shagari Road when the incident happened.

The activist and a former Presidential candidate in the 2019 election was rushed to the hospital after he was shot in his upper limb. Many of the people who gathered at the scene fled in different directions after the incident.

Human Rights lawyer, Mr Inibehe Effiong, who published the incident on his timeline, said it could not be ascertained whether Sowore was shot with a live or a stun bullet.
