In fulfillment of its promise to teeming customers, Suntory Beverage and Food Nigeria, makers of Ribena and Lucozade drinks has rewarded the first set of winners in its Back-to-School Promo which was launched last month.
The five winners were rewarded with a scholarship worth N100,000 at an elaborate event held at the company’s office in Ikeja, Lagos. The event, witnessed by regulatory bodies, family and friends of winners as well as staff of the company further established the brand’s fidelity and commitment to children’s development, especially that it is coming at a time when parents settle school bills.
Speaking at the occasion, Managing Director of the company, Mr Chinedum Okereke said, “Our investment in the Nigerian child is a direct result of our unwavering commitment to promoting quality child education, and reducing the financial pressures from the rising cost of children’s education, through this cash scholarship. This promo embodies Ribena’s motto of Goodness made fun, as we strive to make the high-pressure, back-to-school period more fun for children and parents.
“This is our own little way of thanking our esteemed consumers for their continued loyalty and patronage over the years, and also reinforcing our dedication to helping the Nigerian child achieve his/her dreams. We also want to use this as a platform to reach out and encourage patronage from new consumers, mummies, daddies, uncles and aunties are all enjoined to participate.â€
Addressing the winners, Senior Brand Manager, Ribena, Mr. Essien Ekemini, reiterated the essence of the 84-year-old brand as offering not just nutritional goodness but goodness in general.
He urged the winners to spread the goodness of the brand and encouraged more patronage from existing and new customers so as to ensure that the goodness spreads to all.
New and existing consumers can participate by purchasing a promo carton of Ribena or 150ml Lucozade; search the carton for the Berry card, scratch the silver strip behind the card to reveal an entry code and text the code and their first name to 20966 for verification and redemption.
