Jimoh Ibrahim Hails Omogunwa’s Return to APC

Senator representing Ondo South and leading aspirant in the forthcoming gubernatorial primary, of the Ondo State All Progressives Congress, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, has applauded the return of Senator Yele Omogunwa to the APC.

Welcoming Omogunwa to the party at an event attended by the state party chairman, Eng Ade Adetimehin; all the six local government party chairmen; all 10 wards chairmen in the local government; and the state APC woman leader, Senator Ibrahim described Omogunwa as a grassroots politician and one of the political pillars in the state.

 ”Senator Yele Omoguwa is one of the political pillars in Ondo state, a grassroot politician who was once secretary of the local government, local government chairman, commissioner in Adefarati and Mimiko tenure before he was voted to be a Senator in 8th Senate. He is a national asset, that his advice will be useful for the development of his Senatorial district and the country as a whole,” Senator Ibrahim, who chaired the event said.

In his remarks at the event, the  party chairman Adetimehin, described Omogunwa as a big fish and gave kudos to Senator Ibrahim.

Adetimehin said: ”I and Senator Yele Omoguwa started from 2nd Republic, he is a super bulldozer In the state politics and I want to thank Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR for his commitment and dedication in the party. He is a party man to the core with unrelenting spirit in empowering party leaders and members in the state.”

Speaking, Omogunwa who expressed willingness in working industriously for the victory of the party, described Senator Ibrahim as the most knowledgeable to lead the party and state in the forthcoming governorship election in the state.

“I am happy to declare this openly and promise to work for the victory of the party in the state. I want the best for the state and without doubt, achievement of Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR in 10th Senate is so clear for blind to see and deaf to hear. In conclusion , I want to thank my unit leader, ward chairman , local government chairman and state chairman for welcoming me back to the progressive family,” Omogunwa said.
