ATBU Matriculates 6,102 Students

Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi (ATBU) has matriculated 6,102 students for the 2023/2024 academic session. 

The university’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof Muhammad Abdul’aziz, disclosed this weekend during the ceremony at the Gubi campus of the university. 

The vice-chancellor said ATBU was committed to strengthening the education system to provide a conducive atmosphere for effective teaching and learning to develop future human endeavours.

He described matriculation as a cardinal requirement for qualifying admitted students as bona fide members of a university. He charged the students to fully support the university communities for the smooth running of their academic careers.

He urged the newly admitted students to be law-abiding with the rules and regulations of the university and to concentrate on their studies for the rapid development of society.

The university’s registrar, Aisha Idris, urged the newly admitted students to shun social vices, including examination malpractice and cultism.
