YLCS Marks 5th Anniversary with Documentary

A prominent player in Nigeria’s cleaning industry, Yaz Laundry and Cleaning Services (YLCS), recently marked its 5th anniversary with the premiere of “Becoming the Cleaning King,” a documentary chronicling the journey of Yazeed Yakubu, the CEO of YLCS.

The premiere, held at the Genesis VIP Cinema in Abuja, was attended by close associates, industry practitioners, and supporters of the cleaning giant.

During the premiere, Yakubu shared insights into the challenges and triumphs of his journey in the cleaning industry.

Reflecting on the documentary, he stated, “Toeing this path has been a rocky, blissful, and sometimes extreme sport, requiring blood, sweat, and tears. However, the support of good people has made this journey worthwhile, and ‘Becoming the Cleaning King’ is not just a documentary; it’s a reminder that dreams, no matter how significant, are achievable with determination and grit.”

The documentary delves into the untold stories of YLCS’s evolution, capturing the passion, vision, and dedication that propelled the company to its current standing as a force in the cleaning industry in Abuja and across Nigeria.

Yakubu expressed gratitude for the support received, from family and staff to the unforeseen individuals who became integral to YLCS’s success.

As YLCS turns five, Yakubu envisions the company as a custodian of the environment, aligning its goals with the United Nations’ sustainability agenda. With a commitment to promoting SDG 3 (good health/well-being), SDG 6 (clean water/sanitation), and SDG 13 (climate action), YLCS aims to lead by example in using the cleaning industry to positively impact the environment on a global scale.
