“We have a long list of Mr. Governor’s achievements that cut across all sectors in all the local councils in Lagos, especially Ikeja, the state’s capital.

“We particularly reckon with delight, the acquisition of 10-car intra-city metropolitan speed trains for the 37km Lagos Red Line project and the compensation of 263 residents affected by the Red Rail Line project’s right of way.

“Here in Ikeja, the governor has awed us with the reconfiguring of the Allen Junction, other adjourning roads, and the regeneration of GRA, Ikeja,” the politician cum philanthropist enthused.

Illo further commended the governor over employment offers to many youths of Ikeja extraction, many of which were accommodated in the 51, 514 graduate applications for internship programme designed to expose interns hands-on work experience.

“Our action governor also effected the training of 500 unemployed youths in soft skills and another 280 unemployed youths for global certification on solar farm construction for the supply of electricity in Nigeria.

“In all of these, our youths are better off because they now have sources of income to live responsibly,” Prince Illo stressed.

Meanwhile, the prince informed that he had a blueprint for the transformation of Ikeja in a way that will create job avenues, especially for the less-privileged.

He said this in while addressing recipients at a palliative programme that covered 300 people in Ikeja, sponsored by PAI Foundation, recently.
