2023: Ikechi Emenike Picks Abia APC Governorship Form

The leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State, Chief Ikechi Emenike, has obtained the APC governorship form to contest the gubernatorial election in 2023.

Emenike, a reputed economist, was accompanied to the APC office in Abuja where he collected the APC gubernatorial form by Chairman, Governing Council, Federal College of Education, Yola, Adamawa State, Dr. Nelson Uwaga, Member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency, and National Welfare Secretary of the APC, Barr. Friday M. Nwosu.

Also present at the occasion are the National Organising Secretary of APC, Suleiman Muhammad, National Vice Chairman, North Central, Muazu Mohammed Bewa Raji and National Treasurer, Mathew Ofoke.

As Secretary of APC Contact and Strategy Committee, Emenike’s committee worked hard to ensure the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari at the 2019 presidential election.  

The Abia-born politician is also the Chairman /Chief Executive of Development Economic Resources Limited (D.E.R. Ltd), publishers of The African Economy and of Annual Meetings Daily, the official publications of the World Bank/International Monetary Fund (IMF), the African Development Bank, the African Union and Commonwealth.
