The Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari, on Tuesday approved the appointment of Alhaji Muntari Lawal as the acting Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
This followed the resignation of Dr. Mustapha Inuwa from the position to contest for the state governorship election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Masari, in a statement issued to THISDAY by his acting Director-General on Media, Al-Amin Isa, said the appointment is with immediate effect.
Until his appointment, Lawal was the Chief of Staff to Governor Masari. He also served as the Permanent Secretary of the Government House.
