The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is currently interrogating a former Minister of Aviation, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode, Wednesday.
The former minister was invited to answer questions relating to the forgery of a medical report which he allegedly procured to evade his trial before a Federal High Court in Lagos.
Spokesman of EFCC, Mr Wilson Uwujaren, confirmed the development.
“It has to do with a medical report”, he said.
He could not confirm whether he would spend the night at the commission or remain for a longer period.
“I don’t have that information”, he said.
Fani-Kayode was said to have arrived at the Lagos Office of the commission in the company of his lawyer at about 1pm.
Fani-Kayode had recently joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
